  I had a fantastic experience working with Ferentino Design & Build -Danny and his team. From the start, I came to him with renderings I created myself of how I wanted my space to look. I was so impressed that they were able to take my designs and bring them to life exactly as I envisioned.

The quality of Ferentino Design & Build  work was excellent, and if there was ever anything I wasn’t 100% happy with, they came back and fixed it without hesitation. Danny himself was a pleasure to work with—he’s honest, reasonable, and truly stands behind his work. That integrity was the most important thing to me.

I got multiple quotes from other contractors before choosing Ferentino Design & Build. I noticed that many of them would try to scale down the amount of work they offered to fit my budget, but Danny was different. With Ferentino Design & Build ,I was able to accomplish all of the projects I needed—and even add a few extra touches—while still staying within my original budget.

For example, we transformed my kitchen and expanded into the garage to create a new pantry and entryway. I’ll be sharing before-and-after photos to show how incredible the transformation has been. I loved that I could bring my own design ideas to the table and that Danny’s team was able to execute them so well. For example, my floors are beautiful. I love what a great job the  floor guy did-  the attention to detail and the color I wanted is spot on .

Remodeling Permits in Jefferson

For homes inside city limits, the City of Jefferson Department of Planning and Development at City Hall on Athens Street issues building permits, and remodels are permitted work with or without an addition. In Jefferson’s historic districts, any change to a home’s exterior appearance also needs a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Historic Preservation Commission before work begins. If your home is on septic, Jackson County Environmental Health approval may be needed before the city issues a permit. Outside city limits, permits go through Jackson County Public Development.
